Hi, my name is Johnathan Bruce. Thank you for taking interest in the outdoors. I have always had a love and a passion for the outdoors. From a young age, I can remember enjoying nature and spending time with my grandmother and mother in their gardens, and eventually turned that passion into a career. Through college, I studied Horticulture and learned a great deal about this field. I began to visualize how landscapes are made and maintained (pruning, mulching, fertilization, plant installation/placement). Enhanced skills with turfgrass management (striping, edging, seeding). I’ve spent time working with an arborist, gaining knowledge of proper pruning techniques, as well as plant and tree care. I’ve worked at garden centers and acquired knowledge of plants used in landscaping and interior plantscaping (plant names, sun/shade requirements, perennial/annual). Accelerated in the art of watering plant material (frequency, duration, time of day). As each year progresses to the next. I strive to understand more about plants and landscaping.
